WHY DO A TRAVEL PLANNING CALL WITH ME & MY TEAM?

What can I offer you? These are good questions! You can read my in-depth story on the About page, but here’s the short(er) version: I’m a lifelong Francophile who speaks French, grew up in California, lived in France and Belgium for awhile and now live in the Utah mountains. Every year, I spend time in France and constantly read, research, and connect with friends and colleagues there. I also continue to travel in the Western US every year, as I’ve done my entire life. My studies led me to a Master’s degree in Art, I have worked in the design industry for 15 years, and wrote a book called Paris by Design: An Inspired Guide to the City’s Creative Side.

After years of being the unofficial go-to travel planner & guide for my friends, family, and online acquaintances, I finally made it official and started guiding trips to Paris and taking on travel design clients. This is something I’m super passionate about——I nerd out over helping people discover under the radar gems, plan itineraries that play wonderfully into their unique interests, and experience the transformative nature of intentional, creative travel. I truly care about each person I work with and want to help them have the most incredible experience possible. And I’d love to help you create your own unique trip of a lifetime.

What about the Costwolds? Where does that come in? For that, I’ve brought in the talented garden designer and travel curator B Brooks, who lives in the English countryside. We met when she came on my Provence by Design trip. As we spent that week together chatting about our lives, work, and travels, and as I saw how warm, funny, and smart she was in her interactions with the other travelers, it became clear to me that a collaboration had to happen. She now leads and curates our Cotswolds by Design trips and hosts the 1:1 travel planning calls about the Cotswolds, and our travelers just sing her praises!

So whether you’re looking to plan a trip to France, the Cotswolds, or the Western US, we’d love to help you out! And we can do so in a truly special way that only a flesh and blood person who’s nurtured local friendships, honed their taste, done obsessive amounts of research via trusted sources, and spent countless hours doing in-person scouting can do. OVERVIEW OF THE PROCESS

In this 1:1 travel planning call, Eva or B (depending on your destination) will partner with you to create a plan for an incredible vacation to Paris, elsewhere in France, the Cotswolds, or the American West. She’ll listen to your wants and needs, brainstorm a bunch of fun and creative ideas with you, and then while you’re still on the video chat, help you synthesize it into a custom list or roadmap of places to go and things to do, along with relevant practical intel to make your travels go more smoothly.

Not only will you walk away with a plan full of insider tips that will help you to have a wonderful time on your trip, you’ll also save countless hours of potential research and avoid wasting your money on the big tourist traps. We can fit a surprising amount of information into a one hour session!

DETAILS

The travel consultation will last one hour. After booking, you’ll receive an email with a link to our Zoom meeting. Easy! To make the most of your time together, come prepared with your questions and requests written out. You’ll talk face to face over Zoom so you can ask all your questions and share your requests. You’ll come away with more than enough thoughtful ideas for places and experiences that fit beautifully with your preferences.
